Position Title: Senior Account Representative - State Agencies Salary Range: Account Representative (Grade 13, Exempt). Annual salary range: $67,360 $84,200. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience. Senior Account Representative (Grade 14, Exempt). Annual salary range: $76,160 $95,200. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience. Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for generating revenue by representing Sourcewells enterprise solutions. This position will utilize a relational approach to establish and differentiate themselves as a trusted advisor. This position will also represent Sourcewell at industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events, and implement strategies to increase use of Sourcewells enterprise solutions. Assist Account Executives with a regional strategic plan to achieve or exceed goals for assigned accounts. Assist the Account Executive team by researching and qualifying new leads, and nurture existing leads. Collaborates with the Account Executive team to identify potential leads for new opportunities and schedule meetings on behalf of the assigned account executive team members. Research and understanding of enterprise solutions and be familiar with their function and purpose to expand awareness of compatible contracts, products, or services. Accurately document participants' interactions, concerns, and resolutions in Salesforce to track and analyze trends, feedback, and to manage sales opportunities. Research and have a basic understanding of government structure and legal requirements of assigned region as it relates to positioning Sourcewell's solutions. Communicate regularly with participating agencies. Complete outbound calls with new participating users of assigned accounts to understand their needs and provide an overview of Sourcewell solutions. Respond to phone, email, and chat inquiries in accordance with service level delivery standards. Communicate with participating users to understand their needs and make account updates within Salesforce. Coordinate flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell contract or solution. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand professional connections. Serve as a co-presenter and assist Account Executives with presentations at industry tradeshows and conferences. Facilitate training or product demonstrations for assigned accounts virtually and in person. Coordinate the flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell solution. Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the Account Representative team. Provide technical expertise, application administration, and training on Salesforce and other account related systems to the team. Participate in the development of standard work instructions, policies, and procedures related to the position. Other duties as assigned. Additional Job Description: Experience required Associate's Degree in a relevant field AND one (1) year of experience in sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience. OR A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of three (3) years. Experience working in a business environment. Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills Experience serving internal or external customers In addition to the above, the Senior Account Representative role requires: Two (2) or more years in a state government agency office Worked in and/or with a state centralized purchasing office (e.g. Department of Administration, Department of General Services, Department of Management Services, etc) Familiarity with state centralized and decentralized purchasing authority Familiarity with state agency hierarchical structure Familiarity with state budgets and fiscal requirements Outgoing with Strong social skills Location: This is a remote position and is subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures. Expected travel requirements approximately 3-5 times per year to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
