Position Overview The Global Strategic Marketing Manager Heavy Industry Water will play a critical role in shaping and executing growth strategies across the Pulp & Paper Water and Power sectors, and will drive accelerated growth in Water Reuse & Recycle across multiple sectors. Reporting to the Global Strategic Marketing Director, Industrial Solutions, this role will collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to drive market expansion, strengthen customer value, and advance sustainable water management solutions in key industries. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive market, customer, and competitive analyses to inform strategic direction and identify growth opportunities. Lead the development and deployment of global strategies for the Pulp & Paper Water, Power, and Water Reuse & Recycle sectors. Partner with Regional Marketing, Corporate Accounts, and commercial teams to build, refine, and implement Growth Playbooks. Drive cross-selling initiatives across Solenis business units to expand wallet share and maximize customer impact. Represent the Industrial Water sectors in global, regional, and executive forums, ensuring alignment, visibility, and accountability for strategy execution. Lead Voice of Customer projects and new product blueprinting efforts focused on water reuse, circularity, and emerging industrial water technologies. Own and maintain accredited market dataincluding market sizing, segmentation, and CAGRand ensure consistency across global and regional teams. Develop differentiated, sector-specific value propositions and support regional adaptation for local market needs. Support management systems that translate strategic objectives into clear, measurable performance outcomes. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field; MBA preferred. Experience in water treatment strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial water, power generation, pulp and paper, or related sustainability-focused sectors. Proven strategic marketing or B2B experience within a multinational organization. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across regions, functions, and organizational levels. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities. Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate industry challenges into value-based solutions. Familiarity with water reuse, recycling, and circular economy practices is highly desirable.
