Company Cox Automotive - USA Job Family Group Data Intelligence & Science Job Profile Business Intelligence Analyst II Management Level Individual Contributor Flexible Work Option Hybrid - Ability to work remotely part of the week Travel % Yes, 5% of the time Work Shift Day Compensation Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Job Description We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst II to join our Master Data Management (MDM) team. This role will primarily support the MDM Data Quality team (80%) and contribute to the MDM Process & Experience team (20%). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data quality, governance, and process optimization, with the ability to work across multiple business lines and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additional responsibilities of this role include supporting all Business Units within Cox Automotive and contributing directly to revenue streams, such as preventing lost revenue and identifying areas for future sales growth by creating whitespace data points across multiple systems. The position also involves collaborating with various teams and leveraging data analysis to uncover gaps and opportunities, thereby proactively enhancing overall data quality. Key Responsibilities MDM Data Quality (80%) Perform data cleansing to eliminate outdated, duplicate, or irrelevant records. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability to support business decision-making. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance data reliability and efficiency. Utilize data quality tools to automate validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes. Ensure compliance with data governance policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Continuously assess and optimize data quality processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement. MDM Process & Experience (20%) Support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and policies. Assist in metadata management to document data lineage, definitions, and dependencies. Help establish and monitor data quality standards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on data governance principles and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a masters degree and 2 years experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years experience in a related field Minimum of 5 years in a data-focused or process improvement role. Proven ability to work across multiple business units and think strategically. Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience engaging leadership. Familiarity with CAI MDM tools and master data processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting. Preferred Skills Experience with data quality and governance tools. Knowledge of data management best practices and regulatory compliance. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
