A stable company with a record of strong financial performance and history of being actively involved in local communities WHAT YOULL DO This role provides engineering support to all aspects of the infrastructure of the facility Assists in development, planning, and execution of all plant-related facility engineering activities including a wide variety of mechanical, plumbing and electrical components, but not limited to: building HVAC, roofs, floors, drains, utilities and fire protection systems Analyze system failures to determine source and cause Participate in evaluating system conditions and developing long term obsolescence and sustainability plans. Applies working knowledge of engineering disciplines and independently conceives and develops approaches to problem solving that requires advanced technical knowledge Plans and conducts small to medium-sized projects. Responsibilities include detailed project planning/monitoring, budgeting, project reviews, implementation, validation, and release to production Promote and Drive continuous improvement programs utilizing common problem solving tools and methodologies in processes and procedures within the Ensure delivery of effective performance management while establishing and sustaining a positive work environment. Follows escalation reporting process with inputs from peers/manager for decision making as required. Make and communicate decisions that are appropriate for level of accountability. This position will work to coordinate external contractors to perform work in a cost effective and safe manner.
