Brown & Brown is Seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team in Roseland, NJ. How You Will Contribute Work with Commercial Lines Leader and Producers to ensure completion of all renewals, including meeting attendance. Manage renewal process in obtaining, directly or indirectly, quotes and claims experience from various carriers. Conduct and assemble in draft and final form all accurate marketing proposals. Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena. Daily contact with insurance carriers. Manage inquiries and complaints regarding carrier claims resolution and act as liaison on behalf of assigned accounts to intervene with delays in claim processing. Investigate research and provide timely responses to all clients. Assisting Producers with any new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts as a resource. Attend all departmental service meetings. Assist with training of new Producers and Group marketing Representatives. Pursue a program of personal and professional development. Promote teamwork, support, and a positive attitude in the office and with other coworkers. Attend management meetings, industry events, conferences, and client meetings when necessary. Follow Brown & Brown guidelines, policies, and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned. Licenses and Certifications: A valid New Jersey Producer License in Property & Casualty (as well as any other required states and/or authorities to service the assigned book of business) must be maintained in good standing or be obtained within 90 days of hire. Skills & Experience to Be Successful High School Diploma is required. 5+ years of professional experience within the insurance industrys account management, sales or a related field. Proficient knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverages and contracts. Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc. Proficient knowledge of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machines, etc.) A college degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification. (preferred) Pay Range $90,000 - $150,000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
