THE JOB: The Banquet C List Bar Porter at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is responsible for ensuring banquet beverage outlets are fully stocked and operating efficiently by replenishing glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, and other essential supplies. This role supports seamless event operations while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. THE STARTING RATE: $22.9921 hourly + tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets while maintaining established inventory levels, including the delivery and stocking of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items. Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas, including all assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas. Responsibilities include trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation, cleaning refrigerators and countertops, and mopping floors to ensure sanitary conditions. Complete required paperwork, including bar transfers and dry stock delivery documentation. Maintain par levels of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage areas, and place orders as needed. Responsible for the setup and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas. Ensure the use of approved freight elevators and delivery routes when transporting items to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets. Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses. Identify non-stock items and notify management as necessary. Resolve guest concerns within the scope of authority; otherwise, escalate matters to management. Notify supervisors and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or suspected theft.
