About the Team: You will be a part of a dynamic and growing team within applied materials which creates software and algorithms to improve our products. Role Responsibilities: Design and develop software which is well integrated with Applied Material tools You software is expected to add to the value of our tools by providing essential and exceptional features to our engineers. Develop software documentation and test procedures Troubleshoot a variety of difficult software problems. Design and implement bug fixes Define software specifications and test plans for simulators, test benches or the lab Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting Problem Solving Leads others to solve complex reliability problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions You will work on complex and large pre-existing codebase. You are expected to make improvements without impacting the codebase. You will be required to create new software. You are expected to use known design principles and ensure long-term scaling of your software. Interpersonal Skills Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a related field Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, and how your area of expertise integrates with others Leadership skills to lead small projects as needed Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security or mathematics 47 years of related experience Proficiency and experience in .Net, C#, C++, React, Python, SQL, Network Communication, MSBuild, etc. Education: Bachelor's Degree Languages: English Skills: .Net, C#, C++, React, Python, SQL, Network Communication, MSBuild, etc. Years of Experience: 4 - 7 Years Shift: 10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America) Travel: No Relocation Eligible: Yes Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: No Relocation Eligible: Yes The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
