We are seeking 1st Shift Welder to work in our Vessel Shop to support the manufacture of High-Pressure Vessels & Filter Housings. **1st Shift Hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM (Monday-Friday) ** The wage range for this role is $27-31/hour, based on experience and the results of a weld test. Summary: The welder is capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary. Responsibilities: · Understand and follow all safety procedures. · Maintain a clean and safe work area. · Weld and document production of products. · Ability to Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements. · Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions. · Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area. · Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications. · Complete all required documentation that relate to product produced. · Document and report raw material consumption for all finished product. · Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material. · Ensure all operations conform to our ISO 9001:2015 standards. Job Requirements: · High school diploma or GED. · ASME Code welding certification preferred. · Minimum of two to five years experience working as a welder. · Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. · Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally. · Ability to use various measuring instruments. · Ability to perform basic math functions.
