HealthFitness is looking for a full-time (40 hours/week), benefits-eligible Lifeguard to join our dynamic team at our client site in Marysville, Ohio (OH). Apply today and be part of a team thats dedicated to health, safety, and community well-being! Your Impact: Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities. Enforce and explain rules as necessary. Respond appropriately to any emergency. Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day. Attend all required staff meetings and training. Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members. Maintain a professional attitude. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards. Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills. Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of: 500 yard swim. Active, Passive, Submerged rescues. Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water. Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.
