Chemours is seeking a Corporate Risk Manager to join our growing Finance team. This HYBRID position will be available at out Wilmington, DE location and report directly to the Assistant Treasurer. The Corporate Risk Manager will be responsible for the overall management and administration of corporate risk management for the Company, including management of all insurance programs and management of workers compensation and automobile liability claim activity and reporting for the organization. The Corporate Risk Manager will also be responsible for understanding the scope of potential risk factors that could affect operations, help determine the balance between risk tolerance and identified risk and monitor implementation of risk management strategies. The Manager will also oversee and coordinate all claims-related activities, along with ensuring the proper and efficient handling of claim liabilitys, and gathering data for both record keeping and loss forecasting purposes utilizing internal resources and external experts as appropriate. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage Property, Directors and Officers, Workers Comp, Fiduciary, E&O, General Liability and other insurance programs, including the negotiation of insurance placement structure and pricing Where insurance is appropriate, obtain insurance that provides an appropriate amount of coverage at the lowest possible cost Ensure adequate loss prevention programs are in place to minimize the risk of loss related to property and workers compensation. Work with appropriate internal departments to ensure implementation of programs Manage third party providers (including brokers, insurers and TPAs), to ensure that all outstanding claims are properly valued and reserved Evaluate and manage all workers compensation claims, policies and procedures Manage the placement of surety bonds as well as their renewals Work closely with Corporate FP&A to prepare forecasts, budgets and actuals reconciliation for all insurance related costs Manage relationships within Chemours regarding those impacted by our insurance program, particularly the executive management team as it relates to Directors & Officers policy Educate the Chemours workforce on risk mitigation and maintain an significant level of awareness within the organization of risk and how it impacts the company. Develop procedures and approaches to eliminate, mitigate, reduce and control risks effectively Provide assistance to the Procurement and business teams for review of contractual insurance requirements, insurance provisions, and unusual terms and conditions The following is required for this role: Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related discipline Minimum of 5 years of Insurance/Risk Management experience Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills Attention to detail, ability to take direction and handle multiple projects Ability to effectively communicate with brokers, underwriters, line organizational leadership, and senior management personnel Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Willingness to travel occasionally The following is preferred for this role: Professional designations of ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), and/or CRM (Certified Risk Manager) Benefits: Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Day Were a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets. Pay Range (in local currency): $126,067.00 - $196,980.00 Chemours Level: 27 Annual Bonus Target: 14% The pay range and incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary location of this job only and not a guarantee of total compensation.
