Our team members work a blend of day and evening shiftstypically 7:30 AM5:00 PM or 12:00 PM8:00 PM. To best support our patients and team, evening availability is essential for this position. Compensation: $20 - 23/hr and the starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. What Youll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities): Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care Maintain accurate patient medical records Benefits of Joining VCA Countryside Animal Hospital of Howell: Mental Health: Access to the Lyra mental health platform, including up to 12 therapy sessions per year, guided self-care, and meditation resources.
