WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE A robust Audio Visual (AV) and conferencing capability is critical to our collaborative culture and communication. This role offers the opportunity to assess, improve, and lead the evolution of our AV systems enterprise-wide. HOW YOU ADD VALUE As an intermediate-level AV Systems Administrator, you will: Administer, develop, monitor, and maintain AV systems including conferencing platforms, control systems, digital signage, and integrated room technologies. Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of corporate AV solutions across meetings, conference, and training rooms. Evaluate and review vendor AV designs, schematics, and construction documentation, providing feedback to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with standards. Troubleshoot and provide Tier 2/3 support for AV issues. Develop long-term strategies and capacity plans for future AV and corporate technology needs. Maintain accurate documentation of AV systems, configurations, and support procedures. Support end-user training and onboarding; create and maintain user guides and technical documentation. Contribute to the development and enforcement of AV standards and best practices. Manage daily video conference operations and related AV items; monitor and audit conferences for quality and user experience, recommending enhancements. Collaborate with policy-makers to establish and enforce AV practices and procedures. Advise on AV equipment purchases and assist with installation. Conduct research and recommend AV products to support procurement and development efforts. Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot teleconferencing and multimedia equipment. Perform onsite analysis and resolution of complex AV hardware problems, recommending corrective solutions. Develop and recommend policies and procedures to enhance AV processes and quality assurance. Work with vendors and contractors on AV design and implementation. Apply networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP knowledge. Use AV system monitoring tools and remote management platforms. Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA requirements related to AV installations. Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Drive vendor performance to ensure project completion with stakeholder sign-off. Train users on technology implementations, enhancing user experience through documentation. Travel as required; position requires onsite presence in Dallas office. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Required Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of professional experience as an Audio-Visual Engineer and/or Leader. Advanced knowledge of AV tools, platforms, and methodologies (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, digital signage). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction documents. Hands-on technical skills combined with leadership capability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellence beyond good enough solutions. Base Compensation Range: $90,000.00 To $126,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Companys base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. Total Direct Compensation: This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
