Open to candidates in PA and NJ We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Engineer II! This role will support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, building energy simulations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance. Lead design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programs. Write and inform technical documents, publications, and conducts quality review of content. Provide general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments. Support business development efforts and proactively seeks new project opportunities. For this opportunity, youre a great fit if you can Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics Effectively apply engineering principles to our program work Perform ASHRAE level II audits, with assistance Develop IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports, with technical oversight Develop measures builds for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversight Develop tools and calculators for use in our programs, with technical oversight Provide design recommendations for prescriptive projects in our programs; develop effective technical training materials related to prescriptive measures Analyze logger and utility data Review filings, utility commission documents, and evaluator documents for technical accuracy and sound engineering practices; communicate findings and recommendations to more senior engineers and program staff In this exciting career opportunity, you will have 2+ years experience BS Engineering degree, (or) 0+ years experience with MS Engineering Target Compensation $65,000 - $80,000 Compensation Range $65,700.00 - $98,600.00 Currency USD Type Salary Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicants skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
