To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What Youll Be Doing The Analyst role will be critical to assisting the Equity Derivatives desk with corporate/macro analysis and trade ideas as well as providing daily marketing materials for Sales to discuss and distribute to clients. This information should have direct positive impact via commercial outcomes with our clients and the Trading desks P&L. This candidate will be responsible for supporting senior sales in all aspects of client coverage, including trade execution, disseminating trade recaps, liaising with Middle Office to ensure timely trade settlement, and maintaining databases that track our commercial activity. In addition to learning from senior salespeople, this role will also be working closely with our Trading desk on ideas and risk sharing. As product knowledge increases, the role will expand to include direct client coverage responsibilities. How Youll Succeed Demonstrate a working knowledge of Equity Derivatives and apply it to actionable trade ideas. Work with Research, Strategy, and Trading to help the desk generate content for Sales distribution. Help the team embrace technology that will lead to improvements in our daily workflow. This role has an expected salary range of $115,000-$135,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
