Collaborative, positive environment with strong classroom ratios Leadership that values your input, supports your success, and celebrates you What Youll Do Lead and inspire your classroom with creativity, care, and excellence Mentor assistant teachers and model The Gardner Schools core values Build meaningful relationships with families and children Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity Maintain safety, compliance, and a joyful classroom environment Qualifications Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience (Required). Associate's degree or CDA required BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred Meets all Kentucky state licensing requirements for early childhood staff Reliable and professional with consistent attendance Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members Maintains composure and professionalism when addressing stressful situations or unexpected challenges Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to ensure child safety, facilitate programs, and respond to emergencies. Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs and perform other caregiving duties Remains alert and engaged while supervising children at all times Meets all background check and fingerprinting requirements per Kentucky state licensing regulations Completes required pre-service, onboarding, and annual training hours Adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to The Gardner Schools mission and values Join The Gardner School Family At The Gardner School, youll find more than a jobyoull find a community that celebrates your creativity, compassion, and commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
