Full Job Description

Location: Erickson Senior Living We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the organizations general accounting functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting records. This role manages the monthly close process, maintains the integrity of the general ledger, performs and oversees flux analysis, supervises accounting staff, and supports audits while ensuring adherence to GAAP, company policy, and internal controls. The Accounting Manager works closely with crossfunctional partners to identify activity drivers, investigate variances, and support continuous process improvement. This role will have a focus on Fixed Assets. Competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, and PTO in accordance with applicable state law How you will make an impact Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAPcompliant financial reporting Manage the integrity of the general ledger, including review and approval of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Perform and oversee monthly flux/variance analysis, investigating significant fluctuations and partnering with stakeholders to explain business drivers Lead, mentor, and develop senior and staff accountants, promoting accountability, strong documentation, and adherence to close timelines Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements, collaborating closely with the Internal Controls team Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to inquiries Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation to improve close efficiency, accuracy, and control effectiveness Partner crossfunctionally with FP&A, Tax, and other finance teams, and support ERP or accounting system enhancements What you will need Minimum of 6 years in related/similar industry with at least the last 2 years in a manager role Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience managing or supporting monthly close processes and reviewing account reconciliations Experience performing or reviewing flux / variance analysis Experience working with ERP systems preferred; experience operating in a SOX or internal controls environment preferred CPA or CPA-eligible/ MBA a plus Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
