The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $28.00 to $36.00 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: Read and interpret drawings, elevations, centerlines, and layouts. Perform static inspections of MCS conveyor systems, ensuring all components meet project drawings and Dematic/customer standards. Conduct dynamic inspections, including belt tracking, tensioning, speed verification, product flow testing, and controller setup. Inspect and commission common sorter systems, including SL2 and 2471 models. Troubleshoot conveyor and automation equipment, identifying and resolving issues such as dead zones, air leaks, live zones, and system malfunctions. Apply SMM, ISM, and iView software to support inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Complete model-specific inspection checklists, maintain action item logs, and provide progress reports on project status. Collaborate effectively with Site Managers, Mechanical Installation (MI), Electrical Installation (EI), Project Managers (PM), and cross-functional teams. Lead smaller projects independently and provide supervisory coverage for larger projects when needed. OSHA 10 certified, with the ability and willingness to obtain OSHA 30 certification. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Adaptable to varying climates and job site conditions. Physically capable of walking, climbing, crawling, and working for extended periods. Willing to travel up to 100% throughout the U.S. for extended assignments. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and prints. Experienced in performing detailed model-specific static inspections of mechanical equipment. Skilled in completing model-specific inspection checklists and maintaining accurate documentation.
