Line of Business: Aggregates Kathy Burkart has moved to a non union position , William Brandt has taken the tower operator position , So we need to backfill wills job as a haul unit oper About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul units to transport materials safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-operation inspections and report any issues. Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain accurate records of materials transported. Cross train in other plant equipment such as loaders, skid Steers ,water truck etc. Assist in maintenance and production activities, including shoveling and cleanup of equipment as needed. What Are We Looking For Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work in various weather conditions. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
