This role plays an important part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness. Key Responsibilities Maintain all public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms Ensure handrails are clean and free of debris Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas Follow all safety procedures, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storage Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary manner Report resident safety concerns promptly to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors Work independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness standards Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Previous housekeeping experience preferred Long-term care or healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Excellent time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong customer service skills Reliable and dependable work ethic What Makes You a Great Fit Takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment Compassionate toward the senior population Organized, dependable, and self-motivated Team-oriented with a positive attitude Committed to resident comfort and safety Apply Today Join River Falls Post Acute and become part of a close-knit team where your efforts are appreciated and your work makes a difference every day.
