Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavator equipment to dig, lift, and move materials. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. What Are We Looking For Proficiency in operating excavator equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Compliance with all company policies and safety regulations is required. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. Physical Demands Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, and climbing. Ability to operate equipment for extended periods. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
