Senior Project Management Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the Business Transformation Program Management team in El Segundo, CA! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management for Capital projects in partnership with Capital project leaders Validates Capital business cases with stakeholders from both the business unit portfolio and the functions that include El Segundo, Seal Beach, Colorado, Chantilly, Albuquerque, Maui, and Subsidiaries Supports the Capital process of modernization and growth through helping project leaders develop business cases for new Capital that aligns with total business unit portfolio strategy Executes the Capital process from beginning to end to optimize bringing Capital assets into ready for use state to better support factory schedules and remove capacity constraints Develops, builds, and improves estimating models and databases for Capital and New Business in tandem with driving affordability of Products This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional teams, or equivalent experience Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills Experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelors Degree or higher Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
