Veterinary Assistant Duties Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Laboratory sample collection and processing IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration Client education and counseling Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients Schedule MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM Flexible scheduling available Compensation $17 $26 per hour, based on skill set, experience, and licensure status Veterinary Assistant (VA): $17 $20/hr Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT): $20 $26/hr What Makes All Animal Hospital of Orange Park Unique?
