Title: ILS2: SharePoint Administrator (Contingency Hire) Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Job Summary The SharePoint Administrator provides administration, maintenance, and operational support for SharePoint environments supporting ILS2 Task Order execution. This role is responsible for managing SharePoint sites, permissions, content organization, document management processes, workflows, and collaboration tools that support operational and program management activities across distributed teams. Working closely with government stakeholders, information assurance personnel, technical support teams, and end users, the SharePoint Administrator ensures platform availability, security, compliance, and effective information sharing. The position supports records management, document retention, version control, user support, and collaboration capabilities while maintaining compliance with cybersecurity and governance requirements. Through effective platform administration and user enablement, this role contributes to mission success by ensuring reliable access to critical information and collaboration resources across CONUS and OCONUS environments. This position is contingent upon award of the contract. Roles and Responsibilities Administer and maintain SharePoint environments supporting operational and program management activities. Manage site collections, permissions, access controls, document libraries, workflows, and platform configurations in accordance with governance and security requirements. Provide user account support, troubleshoot platform issues, and resolve technical problems affecting SharePoint functionality and accessibility. Monitor platform performance, system health, and availability to ensure continuity of operations. Support configuration management, backup coordination, and maintenance activities for SharePoint environments and collaboration platforms. Implement and maintain records management procedures, document retention policies, version control practices, and information-sharing processes. Coordinate with government stakeholders, information assurance personnel, and technical support teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity and operational requirements. Support user training, platform adoption, and guidance on SharePoint capabilities, best practices, and document management processes. Maintain platform documentation, user guides, configuration records, and operational procedures. Prepare reports and provide recommendations to improve platform performance, collaboration effectiveness, and information management practices. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and typically require at least 2 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Experience administering SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, or other enterprise collaboration platforms. Experience managing permissions, document libraries, workflows, records management processes, and collaboration environments. Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site administration, content management, and document governance principles. Experience supporting users, troubleshooting platform issues, and maintaining collaboration tools. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, access control methodologies, and information management requirements. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DoD, federal government, logistics, sustainment, or operational support programs. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Teams, and related collaboration technologies. Experience implementing records management, information governance, and document retention programs. Familiarity with NIST, RMF, and other Government cybersecurity and compliance requirements. Experience supporting geographically dispersed organizations and mission-critical operations. Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Administration, Power Platform, or collaboration technologies. For Hawaii Applicants: The expected salary range for this position in Hawaii is $84,700 - $127,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors. This range is provided in accordance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements and applies to candidates working in Hawaii.
