As a Catastrophe Field Auto Adjuster, youll be the trusted face of our company, traveling nationwide to support customers affected by catastrophic events like floods, hurricanes, and wildfires. Whether its a car, motorcycle, ATV, RV, or even a boat, youll investigate damage, review policies, and help customers move forward by settling moderately complex claims with care and confidence. This is more than a desk jobit's a dynamic blend of in-the-field action and virtual collaboration, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a real impact on the ground. This role follows a 10-day on and 4-day off schedule, with 12-hour workdays throughout the year. What Youll Do: Travel across the country to assess vehicle damage and support customers during times of crisis Review policy coverage, investigate claims, and document your findings Prepare or validate repair estimates using industry-leading tools Negotiate and settle claims with empathy and efficiency Capture detailed notes, decisions, and supporting documentation in the claims system Balance your time between virtual assignments and in-person inspections (70% field, 30% virtual) What You Bring: A passion for helping people and solving problems 2+ years of claims or auto damage experience (preferred) Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC or Mitchell Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, including paintless dent repair Strong analytical, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5MB up is required for home-based employees.
