Tipp City, Ohio, is one of six Abbott nutrition manufacturing plants in the U.S., with about half of its products exported around the world. We offer: A fast-paced work environment where your safety is our priority Production areas that are clean, well-lit and temperature-controlled Training and career development, with onboarding programs for new employees and tuition assistance Financial security through competitive compensation, incentives and retirement plans Health care and well-being programs including medical, dental, vision, wellness and occupational health programs, medical benefits start day 1 Vacation 3 weeks (1st yr prorated) + vacation buy program Pension Plan 401(k) retirement savings with a generous company match The stability of a company with a record of strong financial performance and history of being actively involved in local communities Learn more about our benefits that add real value to your life to help you live fully: www.abbottbenefits.com WHAT YOULL DO: Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system Via use of Cambar radio frequency inventory system: Store, pick or assemble finished product for shipment Understand and utilize ship orders and associated warehouse paperwork and RF terminals for shipping/receiving finished products Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment) Store, pick or assemble raw materials in the warehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, release status and lot number Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner, maintain proper FIFO flow of raw materials and utilize knowledge of both raw materials and finished product nomenclature Clean up both raw material and finished goods warehouse areas Stage labels in mobile security carts for production lines Complete label control portion of work order Maintain accurate records and reconcile inventory errors Adhere to the safety guidelines and communicate safety and GMP concerns to Plant Material Control/Columbus Distribution Center leadership & follow up to assure the concerns are addressed Supply materials to lines or move product to and from dock areas to maintain efficient shipping and receiving operations Comply with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Abbott regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines Education and Experience You'll Bring: Required: High school diploma/GED Experience with sit / stand up down forklifts Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals Ability to make decisions based on awareness of area operations is necessary Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of considerable weight (50 lbs.)
