Job Family: Student Regular Wage, Student Work Study Department: Chemistry Supervisor: Angela Lowrey Job Title: Chemistry TA or Stockrooom Job Description: Serve as a Teaching Assistant in chemistry laboratories. Assist professors in answering questions regarding laboratory techniques and applications. If working as a stockroom employee, assist in setting up labs, making solutions, keeping inventory, stocking labs, and cleaning labs. Pay rate: $11.00 per hour starting (pay raises with experience) Must be a current Mercer undergraduate with completed course history in the lab for which you want to TA (ie. 1 year of Gen Chem to be a Gen Chem TA). For stockroom, must have completed at least 1 semester of General Chemistry. Pay rate: $11.00 per hour starting (pay raises with experience) Scheduled Hours: 15 Start Date: 05/15/2026 End Date: 07/31/2026 Mercer Student Employment About Us Student employees are vital to the success of Mercer University.
