We are seeking a proactive and dynamic leader and strategist for the role of Director, Strategic Initiatives where you will be expected to support the development, prioritization, and implementation of a range of strategies and initiatives to drive profitable growth in Retirement markets in the U.S. and Retirement opportunities around the world. What you can expect Strategic Leadership Impact Leading business unit strategy projects and workstreams, effectively engaging stakeholders and synthesizing multiple points of view to generate clear understanding and drive effective decision-making. Developing and deploying strategic frameworks to enable effective prioritization of business resource investment on highest impact initiatives and opportunities. Building collaborative and trusted relationships across Prudentials Strategy, Business, and Finance teams to help drive positive business outcomes. Supporting the development of strategy documents and communication materials, including business and strategic reviews to Prudentials most senior leaders (e.g., Global Leadership Team (GLT), Operating Committees, Board of Directors). Proactively connecting dots across businesses and functions, serving as an enterprise advocate who prioritizes Prudentials broader interests. Taking ownership of work and professional development, performing critical self-assessment to ensure high-quality, senior management-ready deliverables. Marketing Connectivity & External Focus Conducting strategic market research and analysis to identify and assess opportunities in support of short- and long-term business objectives. Demonstrating thought leadership by monitoring and clarifying potential business impacts of emerging external trendse.g., consumer, market, and competitor insights. Assessing strategic partnerships and organic/inorganic growth opportunities. Asking thoughtful questions to challenge the status quo and internal biases. Cultivating and leveraging a network of internal colleagues and external contacts for everyday knowledge exchange, input, debate, and collaboration to strengthen Prudentials market position. What youll need Bachelors degree required; Masters degree (e.g., MBA) strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in strategic roles within financial services or complex corporate environments. Exceptional conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and communicating complex topics to senior leaders. Strong project management and organizational skills; excels in ambiguity and shifting business priorities. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Productivity suite. Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in all mediums, distilling complex topics into simple and clear narratives and adapting for various audiences to drive understanding and alignment. The salary range for this role is from $152,500.00 to $206,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
