VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Client Service Representative to join our team! Location: 4871 Summit Ridge Drive Reno NV 89523 (Easy access off Interstate 80 and N. McCarran) Compensation: $18-$21 / hr. Schedule: This position is full-time (minimum of 30 hours). The schedule may be a rotating four 10-hour or three 10-hour shifts with a half-day on Saturdays, based on hospital needs. At VCA Animal Hospitals, we take our mission to help animals seriously. VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is looking for a personable and highly professional individual who can greet our owners and companion animals with a welcome and by name. Why We Need You! As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for: Customer service functions that include greeting visitors, answering telephones, texting clients for follow-ups/medication reminders and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms. Scheduling and confirming appointments Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care Managing/acquiring medical records, charts, reports and correspondence. Must be able to lift 40lbs and help technical staff as needed to restrain and to lift animals for direct care. Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is always neat and cleanboth inside and outside.
