The CoverMyMeds Payer Implementation team is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to lead strategic client engagements that drive the successful deployment of our Payer solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for our clients, aligning technical capabilities with business goals to deliver measurable outcomes. As a trusted advisor and project leader, you will guide cross-functional teams through complex implementations, championing best practices and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help shape scalable solutions that enhance payer operations and improve patient access to care. * Our preferred candidate will be based in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working, with occasional in-office time at our CMM campus. * At this time, we are not able to offer sponsorship for employment visas. This includes individuals currently on F1 OPT, STEM OPT< or any other visa status that would require future sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship. What Youll Do: Project Leadership & Execution Own and manage implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and resources Facilitate meetings, track action items, and maintain project documentation Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage change control processes Build strong relationships and actively communicate with customer leadership, project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project teams Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries during implementation Business Analysis & Solutioning Lead discovery sessions to gather and document business and technical requirements Analyze client workflows and business needs to recommend optimal configurations and solutions Serve as a subject matter expert on Payer products and functionality Support solution design, testing, and validation efforts in collaboration with QA and development teams Conduct client demos and training sessions as needed Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to team productivity initiatives Stay current on industry trends and product updates to inform implementation strategies Ability to shift between the big picture and project level details. Can work through detailed issues when required Promote and document best practices and ensure long-term adoption of solutions About You: Bachelors degree in Business, Technical, or Healthcare-related field (or equivalent), and 4-5 years of experience in project management, business analysis or implementation roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Healthcare industry experience preferred; Electronica Prior Authorization (ePA) experience is preferred PMP or similar certification is a plus We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
