Job Description: Adolfson and Peterson Construction is currently hiring for a Contract Administrator to be based out of our office in Bloomington. This role supports construction projects by working on contracts and managing the Contract Lifecycle Management System. This role ensures that contracts are properly prepared, executed, and administered in accordance with company policies, project specifications, and legal requirements. Primary Accountabilities Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture. Organize and manage the contract lifecycle including: Tracking contract renewals, changes and terminations. Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, subcontracts and purchase agreements. Ensure alignment with company policies, procedures and requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents, correspondence and revisions. Serve as the administrator of the Contract Lifecycle Management System, managing the flow of contracts through the system. Coordinate with legal, risk and project management teams to resolve contractual issues and mitigate risks. Ensure a thorough understanding of all contract terms and be able to effectively communicate to internal partners. Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes and templates. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree in construction management, business law or a related field. Certification in contract administration or construction law (e.g. CCA, CIQS, PMP or equivalent is preferred). 3-7 years experience in contract administration within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction contracts and related documentation. Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management Systems preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy in document handling. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
