Pratt and Whitney Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) is seeking a Systems Engineer with interest in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), to support next generation propulsion programs. The candidate will be responsible for the development of system models for one or more programs. Candidate will also be involved in Pratt & Whitneys digital transformation initiatives and be a contributor to EDSI standard work development. This position provides the opportunity to be involved with cutting-edge digital engineering capabilities for future military propulsion programs. What You Will Do Develop Systems Engineering Models in order to perform systems engineering tasks including: Deriving and analyzing requirements, defining system logical and physical architectures, defining interfaces, Requirements analysis, defining system logical and physical architectures, defining interfaces, verification planning Interface with team leads, team members, and other teams and provide task status updates Participate in customer and/or internal technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and comply with EDSI standard work What You Will Learn This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
