In this role, you will drive the growth of our Cyber and Tech E&O portfolio by developing key broker relationships, negotiating custom solutions, and sourcing new business. We are looking for a skilled professional with strong analytical skills, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This opportunity is available in our Chicago location. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Growing and managing a portfolio of profitable business focused on providing Cyber Liability & Technology Errors & Omissions coverage. Developing and cultivating new and existing broker and customer relationships in assigned zonal region. Working with brokers and clients to create customized insurance solutions. Perform all aspects of the underwriting process and due diligence including review and analysis of underwriting documents, third party vendor reports, current trends and individual risk factors. Negotiate deal terms and contract language. Source new business opportunities through a strong broker and client network. Collaborating with other related financial lines segments along with regional colleagues and internal/external business associates. Provide exceptional broker and customer service pursuant to industry leading guidelines. Strong adherence to internal and external compliance as well as file documentation. Collaborate with underwriting, claims, operations, marketing, and home office to achieve collective team goals. Responsibilities: You will grow and manage a profitable portfolio of business focused on Cyber Liability & Technology Errors & Omissions coverage. In your assigned region, you will develop and cultivate new and existing relationships with brokers and customers. You will work directly with brokers and clients to create customized insurance solutions. You will perform all aspects of the underwriting process and due diligence, including reviewing underwriting documents, third-party vendor reports, and market trends. You will negotiate deal terms and contract language. You will source new business opportunities through your strong broker and client network. You will collaborate with colleagues in related financial lines, regional teams, and other business associates. You will provide exceptional broker and customer service in line with industry-leading guidelines. You will maintain strong adherence to internal and external compliance and ensure meticulous file documentation. You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, operations, marketing, and the home office to achieve collective team goals. Qualifications: You have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. You possess a minimum of 5 years of brokering or underwriting experience (Cyber-specific experience is strongly preferred). You have excellent analytical and strong interpersonal skills, including outstanding verbal and written communication. You are an effective negotiator with a talent for finding win/win solutions. You have the ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment. You are willing to take initiative, function independently, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your work, all while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards. You have a strong attention to detail. You are committed to using superior customer service as a key differentiator. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $165,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
