Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Garden City, NY! Under the general supervision of the Operations Leader, the Technical Assistant is responsible for processing the workflow of the Northeast Support Team. How You Will Contribute: Correspond with Brokers, Underwriters and Underwriter Assistants via Teams/email to respond to questions, investigate and resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding items. Provide clerical and administrative support to Operations Team and Underwriting Teams. Assist with policy servicing inquiries to include accounting, underwriting, and operations. Learn and work within the Agency Management System to save documents, emails, and correspondence. Become familiar with Agency Management System reporting functionality to include running and distributing scheduled and ad hoc reports. Answer questions about the organizations products and services to assist in customer service functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Licenses and Certifications: Some licensing or insurance related courses (preferred) Skills & Experience to Be Successful: Associate or bachelors degree in an insurance or accounting related discipline (preferred) Minimum education requires a High School Diploma or GED. 1 - 2 years experience in a similar position Proficient with MS Office Suite Basic accounting knowledge Exceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Pay Range $22 - $22 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
