About the Opportunity Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is looking for an Associate to join our Los Angeles team and help shape the future of corporate venture capital. CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS), and today we manage 15+ corporate venture funds on behalf of industry leaders like T-Mobile, Avery Dennison, and Kellogg. Our 40+ investment professionals across six major cities work at the intersection of startup innovation and Fortune 500 strategy a rare and powerful vantage point. This role is your entry point into that world. You'll source and evaluate startups in food & agriculture, CPG, and industrial manufacturing, building relationships with founders and helping leading corporations find their next strategic partner or investment. Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate startups for investment and commercial partnerships Meet with founders, assess business plans, and develop lasting relationships Research industry sectors, emerging trends, and market dynamics Support due diligence and help close transactions Track and contribute to deal flow across the team Required Qualifications 13 years of experience in consulting, financial services, investing, or a startup operating role Bachelor's degree required Detail-oriented and self-directed Genuinely curious about business, technology, and innovation Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-service environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Learn more about the Cerity Partners Ventures Team Most junior roles in venture capital offer limited deal exposure and slow career progression.
