Company: Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. Job Description: About the Role Are you ready to take your quality expertise to the next level? As a Quality Engineer III, youll be a senior leader driving strategic quality initiatives, advancing our Quality Management System (QMS), and ensuring compliance across the organization. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, influencing cross-functional teams, and shaping the future of quality excellence. Youll act as a deputy to the Quality Manager, lead critical audits, and champion continuous improvement efforts that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance. What Youll Do Serve as assistant to the QA Manager, leading meetings and supporting departmental planning. Drive QMS harmonization and best practice standardization across sites. Act as site lead for customer audits and regulatory inspections (ISO, AS9100, FDA if applicable). Define and track strategic quality goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives. Lead multi-disciplinary problem-solving for systemic issues (scrap, warranty returns, field failures). Develop and implement supplier quality programs, including audits and performance improvement plans. Mentor junior engineers and lead technical development sessions. Support design for manufacturability (DFM), PFMEA, and process validation during product development. What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field. 7+ years of progressive quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 standards. Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Proven success in leading audits, managing customer/supplier relationships, and driving measurable improvements. ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP) or ability to obtain within one year. U.S. person (per ITAR/EAR requirements). Ability to travel up to 25%. Why Join Us? Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
