ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology. Hexcel is currently seeking a Production Technician I at our Amesbury, MA location. Hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Pay Range: $22.50-$25.75 per hour Responsibilities: Process materials to specification using various hands-on manufacturing processes. Read and follow written, and verbal work instructions. Consistently and accurately maintain electronic and written production records to maintain production order tracking, material traceability and consumption. Performs accurate and timely completion of cycle counts. In process quality control of products using measuring devices. Identify, document and report non-conforming material to a Supervisor. Responsible for material prep and intermediate grinding and finish operations. Proactively participate in our safety-first culture. Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required. Ability to read and follow work instructions Must be able to read basic measurements devices and perform mathematical equations. Strong attention to quality and detail oriented. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/part drawings is a plus. Experience using thickness gauges, scales in grams, calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance based on the assigned work area. This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. government contract regulations that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
