Our multi-disciplined Process Engineering team performs hands-on problem solving in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are subject matter experts for processes and materials in a cleanroom environment which focuses on radiofrequency (RF) microelectronic packaging and surface mount technology. This hands-on role confronts new projects and challenges every day and requires cross-functional collaboration in both cutting-edge automation and mature production processes. We develop and implement materials and process improvements to our factory, while providing production support using a variety of analytical techniques, including statistical process control, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. We perform the evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues. What You Will Do Support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment) in high-volume, high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems. Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly. Work hand-in-hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing. Develop and implement materials, processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. Evaluate materials, equipment and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues. This role is for 1st shift, onsite position (6 AM - 2 PM). Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with automated assembly equipment The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word and Excel. Experience in a clean room environment, following clean room and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures. Experience with automated dispense, pick-and-place, and curing processes. Experience working on a team Demonstrated organizational skills and problem solving ability Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment. The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
