What youll do: Design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences and fulfill our vision of spatial computing Work with Product, Design and partners across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of software development in web frontend and backend You understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution Strong communication and collaboration skills Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience 3+ years of experience with consumer-facing software development 2+ years of experience in using TypeScript and Node.js to develop web frontend and backend Preferred Qualifications: Experience with building UX optimized for AR/VR devices Experience with modern web front-end technologies (e.g. Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui) Experience with SQL, NoSQL and vector databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Pinecone) Experience with payment service providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please dont be shy and provide us some information. Compensation In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually. Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually. Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
