Job Title: Logistic Technician Reporting To: Supervisor, Inventory Cntrol & Shpg Work Schedule: Onsite Torrance, CA Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Dispatcher / Logistic Technician, to join them. You will report to our Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor, and have an onsite work schedule at Moog aerospace plant in Torrance, CA. This position also requires a high degree of accuracy & maintaining traceability when verifying Nonconforming material, purchase orders, and the ability to interpret operation sheets. To be considered, here's what you'll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Dispatch or equivalent work experience 5+ years or more of warehouse/manufacturing experience Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook As a Dispatcher / Logistic Technician, you will: Pull and put away material to respective staging locations Perform inventory reconciliation(2-Bins) Manage transactions for Nonconforming material physically and systematically Prepare paperwork and send out items needed for outside processing Complete Cycle Counts, Shelf-Life Management for paint Expedite outside machining and processing through vendors as required to meet production schedules Schedule courier (Jet) pickups and deliveries for incoming and outgoing OSP Process Material movement physically and systematically Create/prepare work order splits when partial lots are received. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
