About this Position The Accountant I is an entry-level accounting professional responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role assists with maintaining accurate financial records, performing basic accounting functions, and supporting month-end close activities under the guidance of senior accounting staff. Hybrid role 3 days on site Location: Duluth, GA Salary range between $58K - $62K Annually Responsibilities & Qualifications Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and data entry Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, as needed Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies Maintain organized accounting records and documentation Assist with internal and external audit requests Support compliance with GAAP and internal controls Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 02 years of relevant accounting experience (internships acceptable) Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks Good written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Internship or prior experience in a corporate accounting environment Experience with ERP systems (e.g., WorkDay, OfficeConnect, Blackline) Progress toward CPA or other accounting certification Working Conditions Office-based or hybrid work environment (as applicable) Standard business hours with occasional overtime during close periods Hybrid role 3 days on site Location: Duluth, GA FLSA status: This position is exempt (not eligible for overtime pay): Yes Our Benefits: Day one health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Plan with competitive employer match Vacation, sick, holiday and volunteer time off Life and disability insurance Flexible Spending Account & Health Savings Account Professional development Tuition reimbursement Company-sponsored social and philanthropy events It has been and will continue to be the policy of Primerica, Inc., and its subsidiaries to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
