Machine Operator Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 7:00am What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Responsibilities: Cross train on multiple machines in various departments. Inspect in line finished materials and products on line. Complete paperwork to ensure quality on product Maintain high levels of productivity and quality output on assigned machines Follow design specifications to produce quality product Troubleshoot machine as needed Follow schedule of production and work with lead/supervisor to ensure production demands are met. Push, pull, lift and move up to 30lbs Qualifications 1-2 years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Adheres to all quality guidelines Works under moderate degree of supervision Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor Pay Rate: $23.80 per hour (includes shift differential) Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
