Our team is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist I to join them. You will report to the Warehouse & Planning Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL. To be considered for the Shipping & Receiving Specialist I opening, heres what youll need to bring with you: · High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. · 1+ years of experience in aerospace MRO or a similar warehouse environment. · The ability to achieve Forklift Certification within 90 days of employment. · Familiarity with ATA 300 requirements. · Previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience. · Ability to read, interpret, understand, and apply warehouse standards. · Direct or indirect knowledge of CFR 14 part 145 is preferred. · Forklift Certification is a plus. · Previous Hazmat training is desirable is preferred. · Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist I, you will: · Handle receipt, inspection, acceptance, and rejection of all goods into the facility. · Act as "gate keeper" for the business in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. · Fulfill packing and shipment of aircraft parts and components per requirements and ATA 300 standards. · Ensure timely and accurate communication across all functions as needed. · Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, complying with all safety requirements. · Maintain segregation of materials as required. · Interact with freight carriers to support receipt and shipment of goods. · Perform material transactions in ERP environment. · Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing material. · Continuously improve efficiency and quality to achieve key metrics, including always ensuring 6S. · Manage multiple activities and overall workload while consistently meeting commit dates. · Fulfill other Duties as required.
