Our team is looking for a Supplier Performance Specialist to join them. You will report to the Supplier Performance Manager and will have an hybrid work structure in Chatsworth, CA. To be considered for the Supplier Performance Specialist opening, heres what youll need to bring with you: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. Alternate work experience will be considered in place of degree. Proven experience in supplier performance management within the aerospace industry. Strong understanding of aerospace supply chain processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Manufacturing and/or Automotive industry experience would be considered as well. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for data analysis and reporting. As a Supplier Performance Specialist, you will: Establish and maintain a robust system for monitoring supplier performance against key metrics, including quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness. Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to identify areas of improvement and adherence to contractual obligations. Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement. Generate comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and proposing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement improvement plans to address performance gaps and enhance overall efficiency. Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for performance-related matters. This is a Hybrid position. 70% travel/on the field. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
