About the Team/Role We are seeking a forward-thinking and collaborative Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by helping our development teams adopt cutting-edge AI tools and by contributing directly to the creation of innovative, AI-powered agentic DevOps solutions. The core mission involves both enabling other teams to use AI services and actively building automated, intelligent systems to improve our development operations. How you'll make an impact Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using modern UI frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor. AI Enablement: Assist in evaluating, implementing, and supporting AI development tools for other teams. Content Creation: Develop documentation, tutorials, and demos to accelerate the adoption of these new tools. Agentic DevOps Development: Contribute code and ideas to the design and construction of AI-driven automation for our development pipelines. Experience you'll bring Experience: At least 2 years of professional front-end development experience. Education or Equivalent Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Core Knowledge: A solid foundation in AI/ML concepts and DevOps principles. Programming: Proficiency in a language like Python, JavaScript, Java, or Dotnet, with strong expertise in front-end technologies. Technical Familiarity: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD tools. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills with a desire to help others learn. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploying applications using helm charts. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with automation and scripting for infrastructure and development tasks. The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
