Job Description: Inside Sales Account Representative Location: Reading, PA (Hybrid, with approximately 5% travel) Salary: $48,000-$58,000 Job Summary: We are seeking an Inside Sales Account Representative to drive operational excellence in managing key accounts. This role is responsible for driving revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting cross-functional collaboration with key account and sales teams. Key Responsibilities Performance Management: Monitor target key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and performance. Operational Management: Serve as the commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, manage quotes, and ensure accurate pricing documentation. Customer Experience: Build strong relationships with branch and purchasing teams to deliver best-in-class service. Team Development & Safety: Promote continuous improvement, uphold safety standards, and complete required safety training. Customer Relationship Management: Handle escalations, manage sales revenue, and oversee annual order entry across multiple U.S. locations. Reporting & Analytics: Collect and analyze service data to improve performance. Technology & Tools: Utilize ERP system, and Microsoft Office for order management and reporting. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelors or associate degree in business, management, or a related field with 2 years experience in customer service and/or sales; or a high school diploma with 5 years experience in customer service and/or sales. Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry, a plus. Strong understanding of customer service principles, practices, and technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to troubleshoot customer and order issues effectively. Competency with CRM and digital sales platforms. Quick learner able to adapt to new products, industries, and customer needs. Strong organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple priorities. Effective presentation and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences, including technical and purchasing staff. Critical thinker and problem solver with a customer-focused approach. Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is $48,000-$58,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
