Community Nutrition Specialist - Registered Dietitian - Columbia - Bariatric Outpatient Nutrition Bring your experience to the clinical nutrition team at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia Irving Medical Center. Here, you will work with a dynamic team to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy for diverse adult bariatric surgery and medical weight management populations in outpatient settings. You will have the opportunity enables the advantage of an outstanding skilled dietitian working closely with interdisciplinary providers and leveraging telehealth technologies to ensure exceptional patient centered care for our patients and families. This is a full time, day shift position, Monday - Friday. Preferred Criteria Masters Degree Experience with bariatric surgery and weight management populations Experience in an outpatient nutrition setting Bilingual English/Spanish Required Criteria Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics Current registration with the CDR Current certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist Minimum 3 years progressive clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian or minimum of 3 years of community program experience with a minimum of 1 year as a Registered Dietitian Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, patient counseling skills Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
