Our Room Service Coordinator will be a member of a dynamic team who provides service and support to our award-winning employees. This position reports to the In Room Dining Manager. U.S. work authorization is required for this position. Key Elements of the Job Answer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guests order according to Four Seasons Standards Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each items origin, taste, and preparation methods Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotels point-of-sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guests original order; coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality Properly and accurately close amenity and guest checks; record guest charges and gratuities Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests Compile, coordinate and reconcile amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion and billed accurately thereafter Ensure all BEOs and pre-orders are communicated with staff and kitchen Collaborate with Room Service Servers to ensure guest requests, amenities, private bar refills are all prioritized and completed Preferred Qualifications and Skills Previous exposure to Hotel Operating Systems (Opera, Micros POS and HotSOS systems preferred) Previous experience in office/event coordination or relatable experience Strong communication and multi-tasking Ability to smoothly navigate between engaging guests and handling complex administrative tasks Food Handlers Permit and Mixologist Permit What to Expect from Your Work Experience...You will Be part of a cohesive team with a singular focus on creating the best possible guest experience Have the ability to demonstrate your unique personality and service style while achieving the brand standards that make us Four Seasons Be encouraged to demonstrate your professional passion Have career growth opportunities both within Four Seasons Hotel Seattle and worldwide with our company Be rewarded with market-leading pay and a comprehensive benefit plan Get to experience other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts through the complimentary room nights program Receive a complimentary meal when at work in our employee restaurant, the employee cafeteria Receive an hourly rate of $22.95 and a percentage of service charges and additional gratuities.
