Job Description $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new full-time and part-time employees joining UW Medicine UW Medicine Montlake Radiology Support (DNS) has an outstanding job opportunity for a Patient Transporter/Hospital Assistant position. WORK SCHEDULE 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Variable Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Radiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providers Through various services and locations, they touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum Faculty, technical, and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair, and bed to ancillary departments Ordering and stocking of supplies Maintain / set up special equipment Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication REQUIREMENTS Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington High school diploma or GED equivalent Six months of experience involving customer service in a healthcare setting OR six months of experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER MONTLAKE UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
