Position Summary... What you'll do... Immigration sponsorship is not available in this role About the Team: Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, 1% Chocolate Milk, and Cream for Walmart's Great Value and Sam's Club's Member's Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart's commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high-quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam's Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi. What You Will Do As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, safety, and team development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will: Promote a safe and clean work environment by ensuring proper use of safety equipment and maintaining hazard-free work areas. Manage daily production operations, including planning work schedules and assigning tasks to meet production goals. Monitor and evaluate processes for quality and effectiveness; inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects. Request necessary materials, supplies, and repair services to support efficient operations. Assist in production sequence planning to ensure timely delivery and superior customer service. Resolve associate performance concerns and support ongoing training and development. Complete and analyze departmental reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Lead Lean initiatives by documenting and implementing improved processes. Provide guidance on waste control, quality management, and process effectiveness. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business needs and initiatives. Supervise and develop associates through hiring, mentoring, recognition, and promoting a culture of belonging. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards. Model company values and contribute to a regenerative business culture. Make data-driven decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities. Drive innovation and support others through change by adopting new technologies and encouraging learning. Demonstrate flexibility in your work schedule to meet business and operational needs. What You Will Bring Proven experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment (20+ associates). Strong background in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement. Familiarity with industrial equipment and automation systems. Nice to Have: Experience managing through KPIs across safety, quality, service, and cost. Background in training and developing associates. Experience in regulated manufacturing with cGMP compliance (food or pharma) Knowledge of SAP Work Hours: The Robinson, TX Milk Processing Facility is currently under construction and is projected to be running in March 2026. Once the facility is running at full capacity, this position will lead a production shift that primarily operates Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Until the facility is operational, the regular work hours will be Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm. However, please keep in mind that you will need to be flexible to work outside of regular work hours, including weekends, until the facility is running at full capacity. The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00-$98,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
