Ameresco is seeking a skilled and experienced Account Manager to work in our growing Solar Operations and Maintenance group. The role is remote and will be servicing our clients across all regions. Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers. Liaise between the customer and internal teams. Assist customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to customer needs and objectives. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Forecast and track key account/project metrics. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations. Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis with the goal of being awarded all clients new solar projects. Responsible for working with the Electrical, Site Maintenance and Project Analytics teams to onboard and integrate new clients and properly manage existing project. Perform other duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science Degree in electrical engineering or appropriate field of study. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management (creating client spreadsheets, conducting client phone calls, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Proven account management or other relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all. levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail, customer requirements and project profitability. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Highly proficient working with Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn other computer applications. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent time and project management skills, while always looking to improve inefficient processes. The anticipated hourly range for this role is $30.76 - $44.47 per hour (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
